After 210+ movies we are calling an end to WaGroup Movies. We've decided, after the accident (which he is recovering nicely from and should be back to 100% in a few weeks), that this really was not as important to us as it was when we started a year and a half ago. Things we becoming combersume - uploading was becoming a big issue. Our uploaders had good line speed, but using the tools from the sites we could only upload 1 file at a time, and using 3rd party tools meant we were uploading some files 2-3 times. It became a chore, and no longer much fun.
We will not be removing the movies from rapidshare (but since rapidshare.com is changing their terms and condiditons it looks like our older movies will be deleted automatically) nor megaupload, but we will not be maintaining them or uploading new ones.
Thanks to all of our visitors to this site and we hope you enjoyed all the movies we brought you.

Total number of movies : 217
Total File Size : 142.1 GBs (142187.39 MB)
Total Number of Downloads : approx 30,000 (almost every movie was download between 100-200 times - some as much as 500 times).

Sad news
Ok, you've probably noticed that we have not done any updates in a while. Our webmaster and one of our major uploaders, who took vacation a couple of weeks ago, was in a car accident and sent to hospital. He is still injured an unable to continue what he had been doing and we are unsure of when he will get better. As such, it has made us rethink the whole group and we are coming to terms with if we want to continue as a group or not.
As we mull this over, we will be posting some more movies that were already in the queue this week.
Also, please note that we will probably be shutting down our Rapidshare.com site due to their stupid changes in policy. We will more than likely only be posting to Megaupload from now on. So if you want any of our older movies from Rapidshare.com, now would be the time to get them. When Rapidshare.com forces us to change ID types, the new type comes withs with a 90 day file deletion policy. Since we've been doing this for more than 1 year, some of our older movies have not been downloaded in 90 days and will be automatically deleted.
I would suggest that if anybody is considering purchasing a upload/download account, NOT to purchase rapidshare.com, go with Megaupload or one of the others. Rapidshare.com has really fucked themselves with repeated outages, problems, and policy changes.

Better late than never
Got 2 vids for you this week - Fetish Teens Who Are Anal Sluts (XXX), and Hell House (XXX).
We've been having problems with uploading the last week or so. We are currently using RapidUp to get the stuff onto Megaupload - but lots of balked tries. So are forced to use the much slower MegaManager (which takes approximately 4x as long to upload) - which balks less frequently.

Massive Update
We missed last weeks update and we will not be posting an update next week, so we thought we would have a BIG update this week. Severed heads, a skeleton, an acid vat, ghostly screams, and a noose that creeps around on its own and strangles unsuspecting victims are just some of the treats in a film that has been spooking delighted audiences on late-night TV for decades. Producer-director William Castle (THE TINGLER) claimed this was filmed in a process called Emergo, which meant that at a key moment a glow-in-the-dark skeleton on a wire was rigged to sail over the audience's heads. The skeleton is long since gone, but the goofy thrills remain in this classic tale, from a script by Robb White.

Price is excellent in the role, going about his horrible business as if it were just another day: waking up and eating breakfast, putting on a suit, calmly staking the zombies, making dinner, listening to records at night. But when he suddenly sees what looks like another living soul out in the daylight, his world is suddenly turned inside out.

But when the sinister family doctor is called in to help with the mystery, the expertly contrived Coppola chills really take hold.

Producer-director William Castle (THE TINGLER) claimed this was filmed in a process called Emergo, which meant that at a key moment a glow-in-the-dark skeleton on a wire was rigged to sail over the audience's heads. The skeleton is long since gone, but the goofy thrills remain in this classic tale, from a script by Robb White.

But when he suddenly sees what looks like another living soul out in the daylight, his world is suddenly turned inside out.

Horror legend Boris Karloff and a young Jack Nicholson team up in this disjointed but enjoyable Roger Corman quickie. Nicholson plays Lieutenant Andre Duvalier, an officer under Napoleon who finds himself lost along a stretch of beach, where he is seduced by the beautiful Helene (Sandra Knight), who may or may not be a ghost. His obsession leads him to the gloomy castle of Baron Von Leppe (Karloff), a recluse haunted by the ghost of his dead wife, Ilse, who Andre suspects is actually Helene, or vice versa. Longtime Corman regular Dick Miller plays Stefan, Von Leppe's trusty servant, and Dorothy Neumann is a witch who may be using Helene as a tool for revenge. All the characters do lots of skulking around the gloomy sets and outdoors along the beautiful Big Sur coastline, where the exteriors were filmed. Corman shot the interior scenes in two days, on sets left standing from his previous film, THE RAVEN. Though a little short on coherence, it's a lot of fun, and it's great to see Karloff and Nicholson together in a sort of passing of the machiavellian torch. A nicely ominous mood maintains itself with the help of Ronald Stein's robust score.

After his girlfriend, Mary (Charlotte Stewart), informs him of her pregnancy, he is forced to eat dinner with her extremely odd family. The baby is eventually born, only it isn't a human baby at all; it's a deformed creature that resembles a lizard. The baby won't stop crying, a horrifyingly piercing wail that drives Mary insane. Left alone with the baby, Henry is serenaded by a woman who lives inside his radiator, and soon he decides to murder his baby in order to stop the nightmare once and for all. Five years in the making, ERASERHEAD contains all of the trademark attributes of a Lynch film--haunting visuals, an ethereal score, unsettling sound design, and, most notably, a black sense of humor--creating a world onscreen that is exhilarating, terrifying, and unique.

Here, in the role of boring Harold Crick he appears a bit more at ease, as Harold is not expected to be funny--funny things just happen to him. Instead of depending on Ferrell for jokes, the film delivers laughs on its own by exploring what happens when an IRS agent with a dull, solitary life receives unwanted company in the form of an intrusive female voice narrating his every move. As distracting as this is, things become truly worrisome when the narrator (Emma Thompson as an eccentric author) informs Harold of his looming death. How Harold's life changes as a result of this terrifying knowledge depends largely on wacky Professor Jules Hilbert (Dustin Hoffman) and on tax-evading baker/love interest Ana Pascal (Maggie Gyllenhaal). While Queen Latifah's role as an author's assistant is underdeveloped, Tony Hale brings an innocent charm as Harold's coworker and only friend. At times, the film's take on existentialist themes feels strikingly familiar, and is clearly influenced by features like ADAPTATION and I HEART HUCKABEES.
